About e-pay Australia
e-pay Australia commenced operation in May 2000 through
a trial with the now Singtel Optus Limited. e-pay remains
the premium electronic supplier of prepaid products supplying over 60%
of petroleum and convenience outlets in Australia and has expanded its
product range to include international phone cards and loyalty schemes.
e-pay Australia now has contracts to provide prepaid mobile
for all seven mobile operators in Australia. The service is available
for both voucher based products and E Top-up or online products for its
providers. Prepaid mobile top-up has tremendous opportunity based on
current statistics.

According to ATUG (Australian Telecommunications Users Group), 72%
of Australia's 18 million population carry mobile phones and spend $8
billion annually on mobile services. At 12.7 million there are more
mobile users in Australia than the 11.4 million fixed line services.

Last year in the Australian market, more than $1.3 billion worth of
prepaid airtime was sold, and about 80% of that airtime was sold via
Electronic Top-ups. e-pay secured more than 40% of these E Top-ups.
e-pay Australia currently provides services to both independent
and major retailers alike operating in the supermarket, convenience and
petroleum, mobile specialist, newsagent, and entertainment channels.
Services are available at more than 5,800 retail locations throughout
Australia including major retailers such as – 7-Eleven, Woolworths
supermarkets, Woolworths Petrol, Dick Smith Electronics, Tandy Electronics,
Big W, BP, Mobil, Quix, Video Ezy, Telstra Shops, Optus World, Vodafone
stores, Nextra, and Newslink.
e-pay's technology is available to retailers through stand
alone terminals, configured EFT POS terminals and retailer POS terminals.
